Key points

A passion for re-use

A collaboration that makes sense

At Inkoo, every encounter is an opportunity to transform our faulty textiles into unique and responsible pieces.

Our collaboration with Camille, better known as ‘La Fille de la Marquise’, is a perfect illustration of this approach. With her passion for vintage, antiques and second-hand clothes, Camille embodies a creative and committed approach to fashion, combining ethics and aesthetics.

A passion for re-use

It all began a year ago, when Camille, already a keen sewer since 2014, transformed an old shirt of her father's into a garment for her daughter. She quickly took a liking to the practice, infected by the pleasure of giving a new life to forgotten clothes and textiles.

This adventure led her to open her Instagram account, @lafille_delamarquise, where she shares her creations and DIY inspirations.

In her studio in Normandy, Camille creates unique pieces from upcycled, second-hand and vintage textiles. For her, upcycling is both a creative gesture and a commitment to more responsible fashion. As well as her own creations, she offers vintage fabrics to encourage people to sew their own clothes, reflecting her passion for DIY and sustainable fashion.

A collaboration that makes sense

When we approached Camille about working with Inkoo, the idea immediately appealed to her. For her, as for us, it's essential to find practical solutions to limit textile waste.

So we entrusted her with a selection of garments with minor faults - misplaced logos, stains or wrong sizes. With her talent and unique vision, Camille transformed these textiles into exclusive creations.

During our last collaboration, Camille created a reel on Instagram which was very well received: she showed the different stages in the transformation of Inkoo textiles.

With her energy and values, Camille is a true source of inspiration for those who want to consume fashion differently. Through her work and her collaboration with Inkoo, she shows that every item of clothing can have a second chance.
